The role of labels is clearly different from simply providing information and identifying the product specifications. Its mission is to convey specific messages and its success is measured by its ability to create an image for the product corresponding to its content, causing an interest to buy it. Additionally, labels, thanks to texts and graphics, aim to make the product attractive. Where appropriate, the packaging may be preprinted or the label may be glued on it before or after the filling.
